Based in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), we help steel producers, industrial gas companies, fuel suppliers and project developers decarbonize commodity supply chains and bring first-of-a-kind industrial projects to financial close. Our data-driven, AI-augmented platform combines three things: the I-TRACK (HX) Hydrogen Product Code, a certification methodology for hydrogen and its derivatives; the Digital Product Passport, which records the carbon footprint of a product as it moves through the supply chain; and the Project Bankability Engine, which helps developers address the regulatory, technology, offtake and financing risks that keep new projects from being financed. ## **Role summary** We are looking for a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Analyst to model and quantify the environmental and carbon impacts of products and supply chains. Your models will form the scientific basis of our Digital Product Passport (DPP) product line, giving our data engineering team verified greenhouse gas (GHG) baselines that can be automated and scaled.   ## **Key responsibilities**  **LCA modeling** - Carry out cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave LCAs covering product life cycles, material provenance and supply chain emissions. - Compile life cycle inventories (LCI) and conduct life cycle impact assessments (LCIA), focusing on global warming potential, water scarcity and resource depletion. - Build, test and validate models in LCA software such as SimaPro, Sphera LCA for Experts (formerly GaBi), openLCA or GREET.  **DPP data integration** - Translate raw data from production lines, logistics records and energy grids into structured formats for the software engineering and data science team. - Work with the platform architects on standard data schemas for calculating dynamic Scope 3 emissions within the DPP. - Run sensitivity and uncertainty analyses to ensure the reliability of data presented to clients and stakeholders. **Standards and verification** - Ensure LCA methodologies comply with ISO 14040 / 14044 and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. - Prepare audit-ready reports for third-party verification. - Monitor developments in climate and product regulation, including the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), and assess their implications for our products. ## **Qualifications and requirements**  **Education and experience** - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental engineering, industrial ecology, chemical engineering, sustainability or a quantitative natural science. - Two to four years’ applied LCA modeling experience in industry, sustainability consulting or carbon accounting technology. - Has independently managed at least two completed and verified LCA studies . - Experience in hard-to-abate sectors such as steel, hydrogen or industrial gases is an advantage. **Skills** - Advanced user of SimaPro, Sphera LCA for Experts (GaBi) or openLCA, and the ecoinvent database. - Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
